Stencil Art hat sich als ein Teil der Urban Art / Street Art Bewegung längst aus dem Schattendasein der Illegalität erhoben und in das Licht der Galerien und Museen dieser Welt begeben.

Das heisst aber nicht das diese Bewegung ihre Kraft eingebüsst hat. Trotz fortschreitender Kommerzialisierung gibt es genügend Protagonisten und junge Talente die sich dem immer wieder entziehen und Kunst im Öffentlichen Raum zelebrieren.

Sie verwandeln das Starkart in einen Brennpunkt der Urbanen Kunst, und reflektieren im lichte dessen, was geschieht.

We are very proud that most of the artists from this international lineup will paint live in the gallery and the City in their original style. A great opportunity to meet some of these legends in real life.

Stencil Art, which emerged as a part of the Urban art / Street art culture, broke the barriers of underground and is now more than ever in the spotlight of international galleries and museums.

That doesn’t mean that this exciting movement has lost any of it’s power. Despite the advancing exploitation of street art, there are still many major players and young upcoming talents who continue to celebrate art in public space.

They have transformed Starkart in a hot spot of Urban art, which reflects the light of the Zeitgeist.
