Kris Trappeniers
Kris Trappeniers orientiert und befasst sich in seiner Kunst offensichtlich mit digitalen Prozessen. Diese sind anhand seiner Schnitttechnik die die typischen Musterungen ergeben, leicht zu erkennen. Er verwendet viele Layers und seine Farbpallette ist meist reduziert. Seine bevorzugten Motive sind ebenfalls Portraits von Gesichtern, die er mittels Linien herausarbeitet. Meist komplementiert der Rhythmus seiner Linien fliessend die Umrisse der Modelle, manchmal sind sie aber auch völlig konträr dazu gesetzt. Seine Stencils sind obwohl sie sehr sauber und kühl wirken, wie die aller anderen an der Ausstellung Teilnehmenden Künstler auch, Handgeschnitten.
Kris Trappeniers obviously deals with digital processes in his art. These are easily recognizable by the means of his cutting technique which gives the typical patterns. He uses many layers for his Stencils and his color palettes are usually reduced. His favorite motifs are most of the time portraits of faces, which he elaborates through lines. The rhythm of his lines usually accompanies the outlines of the models, but sometimes they are also quite contrary to them. His stencils, though they are very clean and cool, are hand-cut, like those of all the other participating artists.
